Dear Taya, Our ceremony was beautiful. I got so many comments from guests about how great it was. We really appreciate it. Thanks so much. "Taya was a really great officiant for my husband and me on our big day. She gave us exactly what we asked for, and I'm sure she would do the same for you. She was very professional, and everyone said how beautiful the ceremony was." ~ Molly & Michael, Sept. 24, 2005, Wilmington, DE

Taya does a fabulous job at officiating for being so new at it...She's not nervous, she spoke clearly, she helped me out with the copy for the ceremony and made suggestions. I'm a control freak - I wrote a bunch of the ceremony and she let me do my thing and wasn't critical, but where she made suggestions they were very helpful and sound... She interacted with my family and friends at the reception, at the rehearsal, etc. She wanted me to feel like I didn't have an outsider attending the biggest day of my life... I'm one of those people that had an exact vision for how I wanted my ceremony. It wasn't religious, it was simple and it was the words I felt applied to my husband and myself. Taya is flexible and will do things however you'd like. You can't beat that. Really, I'm super picky, and I felt like choosing someone I barely knew as an officiant was gonna be a giant crapshoot - but I can't say enough great things about her. She was more like a wedding planner than just an officiant. She helped me big time. .cheryl. and christopher, September 10, 2005, Chalfonte Hotel, Cape May, NJ

Taya is performing our ceremony and I am SO GLAD we found her! We had reservations about a "total stranger" performing our ceremony, but after meeting her, it feels like we've known her forever. We aren't religious people, but were catching slack from FI's grandparents about not having a religious ceremony. Together with Taya, we are customizing our ceremony to be non-religious, but everyone will still walk away feeling that our marriage will be "blessed" She brought to the table a lot of traditions I had never heard about- some of which we've decided to use! She is very informative and goes above & beyond to make sure you get exactly what you want out of your marriage ceremony! ...I'm so excited I have my new friend marrying us! I have no doubts it is going to be the intimate, special, and amazing ceremony we deserve to have! Erin, Date set for September 9, 2006, Greystone Hall, West Chester, PA

My husband and I got married in November, and we were very cost conscious. One officiant gave us an estimate that was more than we paid the dj! On the other hand, we were concerned about sacrificing quality if we were too focused on the cost. All I can say is, thank goodness for Taya. She was fantastic! If we were to do it again and had an unlimited budget, my husband and I would still pick her. She asked us many questions to make sure she got a good feel for us and what we were looking for. She had plenty of different ceremonies that we cut and pasted from to create our own unique program. (I had hopes of writing our own vows, which Taya would have accommodated, but she had such great stuff, we didn’t need to). Taya gave us some great feedback to guide us on what worked best, but she allowed us to design it exactly how we wanted. Several people commented on how beautiful the wording was. We asked her to stay for the reception, and she fit in perfectly - she was like one of the family. People still tell us how great our officiant was. In the end, I think the 2 features that set her apart from others are her passion (she works hard to understand you and to deliver your perfect ceremony) and her flexibility (I would bet that no matter what the atmosphere you're going for, she'll be able to create the perfect ceremony, and she'll fit right in). Sincerely, Rhonda & Rich. November 2005, Nur Temple, New Castle, DE

I will be using Taya for my wedding in June and I can not say enough good things about her. I met with her in person after several e-mails back and forth and I had mentioned that we wanted to include some Viking traditions due to my FI's heritage. She brought like 5 things on Viking traditions before we even booked her. My FI is also very excited, she really clicked with both of us. She is so sweet and she knows what it's like since she just got married so it makes it easy to talk to her and explain what you want. She is also customizing a ceremony for me to include all the aspects that my FI and I feel are important. What sets Taya apart from anyone else is that she is a newlywed, she knows what it is like to be a bride (recently) which means that she has a better understanding of what a bride is going through and knows how to handle things differently than a male or someone who has not been married in the very near past. This was one of the major strengths when I met with Taya, she knew how much stress I would be under with other details and just by the way she talked with us made me feel that there would be no added stress throughout the process of the ceremony. Taya is flexible and willing to do anything and are there through the whole process without being pushy or calling to say this or that. If she sees something that she thinks would interest me, she simply e-mails it to me, because she know I am comfortable with that...Taya knows people and what works best. I would definitely recommend Taya to anyone looking for an officiant! Sarah, Date set for June 17, 2006, White Clay Creek CC, Newark, DE

Taya, Thanks for making our wedding day special and memorable. The vows were so touching that members of our family are still raving about how intimate they were. The vows not only expressed our love for each other but incorporated our unborn child, which meant the world to us. You are truly a blessing. ~ Damiane and Kendra Gardner, May 06, 2006, Waterfall Banquet Center |
