I have been officially ordained since April 2005 and am a member
of the American Association of Wedding Ministers. Since the start
of my new "business", I have performed over 350 weddings!
In attempting to plan my own wedding in March 2005, I had many
problems finding an officiant because neither my fiance nor myself
were affiliated with a church or religious organization in the area.
After much discussion, I was able to convince my own dad and
my husband’s cousin to perform our very special ceremony! The
driving force behind my ordination was simply due to the
realization that there are so many other couples out there in the
same situation that I KNEW I could help. And let me tell you what
a wonderful feeling it is to help other couples out and see the joy
on their faces as they stand before me at the altar.
During the "interview" process (I think of it more as getting to know each other!), I try to get
as much information as possible so that I know how to help you plan for your special day.
This can all be accomplished through a simple email exchange or a short phone call. You can
even go ahead and fill out the questionnaire I offer to all my couples right here!
Even after those initial "conversations", I think you'll see that I'm very personable and
outgoing. And while I'm a "hired professional for the day", I can't help but care about how
you feel about the entire process. It's your big day and you should be enjoying it, not
worrying about the little details of your ceremony.
Your wedding day is a very special day, filled with family, friends, memories and emotions.
As your officiant, I will do my best to see that your ceremony will always be a treasured
part of your memorable day!
If you or someone you know is need of an officiant for a non-denominational
or secular funeral, I have expanded my services to include funerals
and memorials.
